Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Pahalgam is between March and November. Summer (April–June) offers pleasant weather perfect for trekking and sightseeing. Autumn (September–November) paints the valley in golden and red hues. Winter brings heavy snowfall, making some areas inaccessible but offering a magical snow-covered landscape.

How to Reach

Pahalgam is about 95 km from Srinagar, approximately a 2.5-hour drive. The route passes through the saffron town of Pampore and the historic town of Anantnag. Regular taxis and buses operate from Srinagar to Pahalgam.
